If Cassidy Hutchinson is like Alexander Butterfield, then who is John Dean?

The J6 Committee has released much more of Cassidy Hutchinson's testimony before the Committee and it showed that she identified with the predicament of Alexander Butterfield when she was reading a book by Woodward and Butterfield. Would she be able to look herself in the mirror if she did not do her best and in a moral way?

Her first lawyer, whom she dropped, and in her opinion, had told her to not be honest with the Committee, is being reported as resigning from his law office. He may be the first new indictment the DOJ is looking at? Is he a step on the ladder?

Was he advised to tell Cassidy Hutchinson to just say "I do not recall", even if there was much that she did recall? It's sort of a witness manipulation or maybe witness tampering?

Is this where the DOJ begins its case, using the J6 Committee's Final Report as a roadmap?

their investigations publicly we don't know its status. But they will certainly incorporate the J6 evidence into whatever they already have. I doubt they will indict the lawyer; they have much bigger fish to fry. They'll want to interview him (Hutchinson has waived the attorney-client privilege) to find out who paid his fee and who told him how she should be told to testify, and the threat of prosecution could loosen his lips considerably. And he is certainly facing disciplinary action and could lose his license.

Then that is getting very close to the Oval Office. There are definitely bigger fish to fry. They have to begin somewhere.

It sounded like the lawyer was well-integrated into the Trump cult, and probably didn't have to be specifically told how to handle her testimony. But I'll bet he was in constant communication with Meadows and maybe TFG himself. This is likely to be investigated.

If not a target, he sounds like a very interesting witness. It could open the door to bigger fish.
