MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell is questioning whether Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) legitimately won his reelection bid in Miami-Dade County, saying on his streaming show Tuesday: I dont believe it.
Lindell is a big supporter of former President Trump who has made baseless charges about electoral fraud in the past. DeSantis has emerged as perhaps the most dangerous rival to Trump in a 2024 GOP presidential primary.
Trump has already announced his candidacy. DeSantis has not said if he will run for president.
Lindell specifically questioned the big victory DeSantis won in Miami-Dade County on The Lindell Report.
The county, which has traditionally gone for Democrats in past elections, swung for DeSantis during the Florida gubernatorial race by 11 points.

(8,387 posts)I mean, shit, the way we certify elections in this country is to see if Lindell says "It's rigged." As soon as that happens, you know the election was legitimate.

(3,915 posts)but hey, if they're going to turn on their own, let 'em have at it. I love the way Kari Lake tore into Maricopa County election officials, a group of Republicans who have tightly controlled voting in their county and have, on occasion, made voting miserable to keep turnout low in favor of their favorites in primaries. Joe Arpaio comes to mind. They botched a primary to get him re-elected and then he lost in the general election.
I think the problem in Florida was Democrats not having a great candidate on the ballot to counter Desantis.
