(25,765 posts)Don't understand the nobody-listens-to-me thing. That's life. I think it's the inflated self-confidence of Americans. Studies where people from different countries are given math tests or something and Americans always think they did much better than they actually did.
My personal theory is that Americans used to be crazy about self-help books but now they prefer to be victims and blame somebody else, something else.
