Commuting this week in Portland has been a sometimes wild ride. 50 mph winds are not to be trifled with. Calmer today, I'll probably just get drenched on the ride home.

5. In Detroit, I wore my winter coat yesterday and was sweating.

A week ago my hand almost broke off pumping gas it was so cold.

7. Here in Wisconsin a couple hours north of you. The wind was scary, 52 mph at times.

39 below wind chill. I went to check and make sure all the garage doors were closed and exits.
The wind on the roof sounded like fireworks going off, and it went on all night.

About 30, with gusts higher. About 2 days, then calmed down.
We Had 15-20mph winds yesterday, but much less today.
