Anyone else being "blamed" for Obama winning? I was accused 2x today of brainwashing people.

My Rep. Mother called me a Svengali because 2 former Reps in the family voted for Obama. A neighbor just told me that I had caused another neighbor to vote for Obama. I do talk about politics a lot but one of these people had been fed up with Bush already and all I did was give them a copy of Bush's Brain to read. Another person had lost their job and they were kind of in the middle. I had talked to them a lot about politics and might have been a tiny bit influential.

I think for these Republicans, they are angry and someone needs to be "blamed." They cannot believe that Obama could not have won if it were not for some "trickery."

Btw - these people who switched to Obama are intelligent people who are no pushovers.

I think I will wait for a few days to go to my mailbox..... There are some angry people out there and I live in a very Repub. area.

I had an all day meeting with SR. Managers that was quite interesting. One of the managers act like a close family member died which is funny because he didn't act like this when his father died.

The are sure the end is near.

One guy wouldn't even talk to me.

period.

Just had a "friend" who works AT A GAS STATION infer that it was Obama who made the gas prices go up 20 cents from yesterday.

(FB).

I held my fingers in check, keeping from reminding him that in November 2010, the same thing happened ... when Repugs retook the house ... only over 2 weeks, it was 30 cents a gallon ...

psychotics and sociopaths. But that's just me. I banished them from my life, and when I say that, I mean family. Life's too short to have to put up with lizard-brained nonsense when reality is staring them in the face.

.....republicans -- they had sads -- and when I called a customer this afternoon and mistakenly asked him "How are you today?", I got an ear full. He finished it off with "There has got to be something really wrong with these people (i.e., people that voted for Obama)." I just chuckled and said in my sweetest, butter-wouldn't-melt-in-my-mouth voice, "You know, they probably think the same thing about you."
