(27,711 posts)The Voting Rights Act is pretty clear that the Attorney General has the prerogative to intervene to prevent violations and to conduct a thorough investigation to ensure that the law is followed.
This needs to go to Court right the heck now.

(27,711 posts)While half the nations body politic is in a tizzy about the CIA Directors private affairs, the State of Arizona is conspiring to deny the right to vote to hundreds of thousands to Arizonans on the basis of race. An army of lawyers needs to descend on Arizona. I'm officially outraged.

I mean who could believe that in a state with an established legal past of racial discrimination certain office holders would conspire to create an election process that would target an ethnic group for voter suppression through direct disenfranchisement that all indications suggest would produce a desired political result?
