Most Republicans in the Senate support Ukraine and roughly half of the Republicans in the House do. I trust any budget coming out of a join House-Senate conferencing committee will include money for Ukraine. Jeffries will eventually extract concessions from the new Speaker of the House becaues the likes of Gaetz and Greene aren't pragmatic enough to vote for anything that can make it through the Senate.

That aside, what specifically leads you to believe a new speaker increases the odds of military conflict between Washington and Moscow? What is your direct train of thought on this?
