IDF releases damning evidence of Hamas using ambulances to move around Gaza

Days after rare Israeli strike on ambulance in Gaza, army releases intercepted call in which Hamas terrorist admits ‘I can leave with any ambulance I want’

“I can leave with any ambulance I want,” the terrorist is heard saying to a Gaza resident he was talking to. The recording comes after Israel took responsibility for a strike on an ambulance in Gaza over the weekend it claimed was transporting Hamas terrorists.

In addition, a collection of quotes from Shin Bet interrogations of terrorists from Hamas’s elite Nukhba force who took part in the massacre in Israeli border towns on October 7 also reveals the use of ambulances and hospitals by Hamas terrorists for military activities in the Palestinian enclave.

(snip)

Another terrorist argued that “the Jews don’t hit ambulances” while a third terrorist said that “During combat, the ambulances are used, among other things, to evacuate fighters – commanders and operatives. They also transport food, cargo and weapons in them because that is the safest way to transport them.”

Another told in his interrogation that most senior Hamas political and military officials, including Hamas leader in Gaza Yahya Sinwar, are “hiding in the hospitals, especially the Shifa Hospital. They take advantage of the hospitals so that they will not be bombed.”

Gaza hospital was a water reservoir.

Investigation disproves Israel claim of Hamas tunnel under Gaza hospital
The hatch Israel claimed was a Hamas tunnel is only a water reservoir for the hospital.

[link:https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/11/8/investigation-disproves-israel-claim-of-hamas-tunnel-under-gaza-hospital|]

Sanad, Al Jazeera’s digital investigation agency, has disproved the latest claim by Israeli authorities that there is a tunnel for Hamas fighters under the Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Hospital for Rehabilitation and Prosthetic Hospital, commonly known as the Qatari Hospital.

Israeli authorities have often claimed that there are command bunkers and main tunnels running under Gaza hospitals as a justification for targeting health facilities, which are protected in war by international law.

A video released by Israel’s military showed a hatch in the hospital courtyard, right next to an exterior wall, that they alleged leads to a Hamas tunnel.

However, Sanad’s investigation shows that this is simply the access hatch for a water reservoir that the hospital uses to fill therapeutic pools for amputees, water the grounds, and a reserve water source in case of emergency.

Sanad analysed satellite footage and archives of the hospital’s construction and spoke to one of the original engineers who built it.

3. The investigation shows nothing of the sort. The key word is WAS.

It found one hatch that was not originally intended to lead Hamas tunnels. Just because it was intended to lead into a water reservoir in 2019, (based on blueprints), there is no evidence that it still leads to a water reservoir today. And even assuming it does, which is a rather generous assumption, that's one of how many dozens of tunnel shafts that Al Jazeera keeps silent about?

I am with you. Read the whole article. Carefully.

No, seriously, the terrorist is describing war crimes. Real war crimes. Geneva Conventions kind of war crimes.

The outrage is coming soon... any day now... but I am not holding my breath...

5. Huh, I guess Israel should just target all ambulances and hospitals now.

As well as schools and day cares and churches since Hamas uses those as well. I'm not saying it's not true. I don't even have to have that argument with anyone. When your enemy puts you in a position that you think you have to commit major atrocities then you failed big time. Like major major big time. Big enough that maybe you should rethink everything you are doing, take a moment and ask for help from the people that want to help you and seriously take their advice and help cause you got played. Israel can win this battle, of that I have no doubt. But winning this battle the way they have been going will make them lose the war. Wars are not won just from logistics and soldiers and battles. The public opinion of the countries largest ally is also a major factor and we don't like to see ambulances and hospitals and schools bombed. We like those. This is not a surprising opinion and even if this results in killing some terrorists assholes it kills a lot of innocents as well. And we don't like that. We dont like what happened in WW2 no matter how many people bring it up to justify this. We have moved forward from having to bomb entire cities to destruction to get to the baddies. I don't really know what should be done, I have Ideas. Activate the special forces of America and Israel and send them in with backup from the armies. I'm for that. Go for the tunnels. Eliminate their safe space. Make their safe space not safe at all. It would also get rid of a large amount of their supplies. They have Americans so why not? Sounds way better than bombing ambulances and hospitals. Way way better but that's just my opinion.
