Astonishing Observation on Trump's Statement

I've been giving some thought about Trump saying that he is prohibited from testifying because of the judge's limited gag order.

Think about that. Anybody with even the slightest knowledge of the Constitution or the law knows that no defendant can be compelled to testify against himself or be prohibited from truthfully testifying in his own behalf. Donald Trump was President for 4 years. He headed up the Justice Department. He appointed Attorneys General and some of their subordinates. Dozens, if not hundreds of judges, including 3 Supreme Court Justices. And on and on. you mean to tell me that Trump does not know this basic principle of law? Come on. If he's lying, what a fucking lousy lie that's so easy to disprove. But what's worse is, if he wasn't lying. If he really thought that's the law. Are you fucking kidding me? We should be all over this

My brother has sociopathic tendencies. I’ve watched him recount to others stories that I participated in, and even though he knows that I know exactly what happened he will add outrageous embellishments to the story without batting an eye.

My husband does that - drives me crazy. I stopped correcting him though - if he needs to do that it's no skin off my back. Yes, he's been diagnosed with NPD, not a malignant one though.

Trump is a classic malignant Narcissist.

Sociopaths usually know they are lying.

Trump is so damn crazy it is hard to parse out which particular insanity
is in play at any given time.

But do you seriously think Trump would have ever become president if God didn't think that's what's best for America?

Would god have allowed 6 million of his chosen people to be murdered if it wasn't what was best for Nazi Germany?

Would Stalin have ever become a Russian Dictator, while murdering 3 million Russian citizens, if God didn't think that's what's best for Russia?

And the great Irish Famine, where a million people starved to death, was God doing what's best for Ireland.

Sure, sure it's all god's fault. Good to have a built-in scapegoat when humans visit horrors onto the world.

from comments being posted by others on social media. “Everyone can say what they want in this case except President Trump,” Blanche asserted. Not buying the argument, Merchan fired back: “They’re not defendants in this case. That’s a very significant issue you’re overlooking.”

The place for Trump's defense is in the courtroom in front of the jury. That's the whole reason there are "defense attorneys." Trump also has the right to speak under oath in court. On the other hand it's standard practice to not allow anyone involved in the trial to publicly discuss the case outside thee courtroom except for generalized statements, like, "I believe I will be found innocent, " full stop.

as to who can actually run for President or Congress. What qualifications are needed according to the constitution are too little.

At the very least they should require all potential candidates be given a comprehensive exam that includes sections on the Constitution, History, Economics, Public Policy, and Foreign relations. If they cannot score a passing grade they should not be allowed to run period. The world is far more complicated than it was than when the Constitution was written and we can't afford to have people who have no basic knowledge of at least the majority of these topics in office.

I realize it would take a Constitutional Ammendment, and it probably won't happen, but it should.

It does not matter how bizarre like Mike Flynn going on about a marxist takeover, which is a complete fantasy.

They know they have over 100 million rubes in this country who are complete brainwashed and throwing out these things is how they keep them lathered into a zombie apocalypse type rage, and keeping them separated from reality is part of it.
