His approval ratings are near a three-year high. The never-ending claims that he's constantly losing support have little basis in reality and are mostly projection and wishful thinking. Nearly everyone made up their minds about Trump years ago, some, decades ago. If nothing he's done thus far has turned his supporters off, this trial is unlikely to do so.

To paraphrase others, we need to stop projecting and instead assume that this is going to be a war, because that's exactly what it's going to be. We need to stop assuming that any of this is going to have a significant impact and instead prepare to beat him in November via turnout.
