Do you really believe he will be made to wear that orange jump suit? I don't.
Do you really believe he will have a small cell with few amenities? I don't.
He will be treated like no other criminal has been treated.
When he loses the campaign finance trial do you really believe that he will be sentenced to jail time? I don't.
The 2 Jack Smith trials would have certainly brought him down, this trial could turn out to be a speed bump in the road for TSF.
The insurrection continues.
Has Scott Perry been indicted yet? They did seize his phone.

(10,220 posts)His supporters will be outraged, which is exactly what he wants. Someone her already suggested the solution. Sentence him to jail but postpone his time until after the trial. Add one day of jail time for every violation, all to be served later.

(21,543 posts)what TSF wants. It isn't relevant to me. I don't give a darn what his Magat cult thinks. Just follow the law.

(46,364 posts)The Judge will empty the courtroom of the jury, the media, spectators, etc., leaving behind Trump and his counsel. Whereupon, the Judge will intone the sentence and have marshals discreetly escort Trump out a side door, down some stairs where an unmarked and idling van will be waiting for him. No media, etc. Trump will be disappointed about the latter. It will drive him to a detaining cell, likely in solitary. He can't go to a police precinct jail because of the media. He will have to be admitted and discharged in secret.

(12,450 posts)and maybe, just maybe it will show that shithole can't always skirt jail time and hopefully it will scare shithole enough while realizes he is not above the law.

(21,543 posts)is that supposed to make TSF believe he isn't above the law?

(42,906 posts)If, and its a big if, trump was sentenced to prison upon conviction in the New York state business record falsification case, he would be housed at a minimum to medium security facility. He would not wear an "orange jumpsuit" because prisoners at those facilities don't wear orange jumpsuits. The cells in such facilities are not 'small with few amenities."
In short, he would not be treated unlike any other non-violent criminal convicted of financial crimes.
I stated he would not be given jail time for his campaign finance conviction.
