Who is this Obama fellow??

He's not a Democrat and he's not a Republican. He is first an American. He wants what is best for the country. He wants to get things done. He wants a list of accomplishments and it doesn't really matter if it is done by Democrats or Republicans.

He wants the Congress and Senate to work together in a bi-partisan manner. He is willing to work with anybody so long as he can do what he thinks is best for the country. He is a true patriot. But he is not a partisan.

He doesn't know how to fight in a political way. He prefers to do everything diplomatically. He will not play the role of the partisan President. He will do whatever it takes to get a deal with the "other" Party. He will wash their car or he will walk their dog. He just wants to get things done.

he is relentlessly pursuing a distinct agenda: the New Democrat agenda. Pretty much right down the line.

Funny, I thought that our Dem President wanted to just further the stalemate in Washington, or become a Dictator in his own right via the theory of "A Unitary Executive" rather than actually working within the Constitution.

And he's still trying to get things done? Constitutionally?

Who IS this Obama fellow, indeed!?!?!?

He is, and always has been, a corporate Trojan Horse.

Before he was even elected he was touting privatizing the school system. He appoints corporate/Wall St. apparatchiks to his cabinet. He tells progressives to drop dead. He prosecutes whistleblowers more aggressively than anyone.

He is a corporatist.

He sold us out to Wall St. in 2009. He sold us out to the health insurance racketeers in 2010. And he is about to sell out Social Security.

Nothing mysterious here. Nothing nice for democracy either.

I'm sure he's a moral being - except that its the morality of a conservative (but not insane Republican). He is close to the right end of the sane political spectrum. He is to the right of Nixon. He is to the right of Eisenhower (no MIC speech from him. Why anyone ever thought he was a liberal is beyond me.
