But boy was it slow. We walked over to our voting place, at the IBEW Union Hal a little before noon, and we were only the 46th and 47th people to vote. And this covers three separate precincts. That is way slow.

This is a largely Democratic area, but that doesn't mean people shouldn't vote in the Democratic primary: there were two pages full of races, some of them important. If you don't want some crappy judges on the bench or if you care about who the County Clerk or Water Reclamation District commissioners are, you really should vote. (Not to mention state senator and representative, which in our case weren't terribly competitive races).
