http://littlegreenfootballs.com/article/40185_Jaw-Dropper-_Fox_Affiliate_in_Orlando_Calls_Neo-Nazis_a_Civil_Rights_GroupWhat the hell is going on at Fox 35, the Fox News affiliate in Orlando, Florida?
Do you mean to tell me that nobody in the editorial chain for this story realized that they were not covering a civil rights group but the National Socialist Movement, a neo-Nazi organization that uses a swastika for their logo?
Really? Civil Rights Group Patrolling Sanford.
In this video of their broadcast, you can see this isnt just a fluke headline the anchor refers to the Nazis as a civil rights group by name.

(2,571 posts)Nazi and Klan groups have been trying forever to legitimize themselves by claiming to be civil rights or cultural pride movements.
The fact that this Fox affiliate is repeating this claim as fact is disturbing. Is this a case of one station screwing up, or is this part of a coordinated rollout? Are we going to be hearing other RW outlets picking up this idea, like they did with "death tax", etc? Are they going to make the teabag/white supremacist connection official?
