There's one installation in central Australia you may not be aware of - 'Pine Gap', the NSA's primary intercept for Southern Hemisphere telecommunications. Lil' Kim better hope he misses that one.
Yes, I know there every chance flight path could veer in any direction, but put it this way, if this piece of junk was projected to cross the USA west coast, it might feel a little creepy.
Update. The missile is reported to have fallen apart, shortly after launch.

(10,618 posts)I remember America's space program back in the late 50's and early 60's. Almost every rocket crashed and burned on take off. It took a long time and a lot of practice before we figured out how to do it right. I fully expected their rocket to come apart at the seams on take off.
