Too bad for them that last month's jobs numbers were revised higher, to over 150,000 jobs, which is enough to keep up with the population growth. The jobs reports are just an estimate. This month's jobs numbers could be revised up, too. If the economy keeps adding about 150,000 jobs a month, that's good for the president. Of course, the media doesn't want to talk about the last two month's jobs numbers being revised higher. All they want to talk about are the latest weak job ESTIMATES, and how the unemployment rate only went down, because of people dropping out of the labor force. I don't recall the assholes in the media pointing out those details, when that happened on Bush 43's watch. The funny thing is, the media was previously saying a lower unemployment rate was good for the president, no matter what the real reason was.
The republicans need to shut-up over the jobs numbers, because despite all that, their loser candidate, Mitt Romney has a narrower path to 270 electoral votes. You would think that during a weak economy, their candidate would be doing better. The reason Mitt Romney isn't doing better, is because people remember it was the republicans who created the mess. That's why republicans don't like it when President Obama reminds voters that the country was losing 800,000 jobs a month, when he first took office. Things aren't great, but things have gotten better. There has at least, been job growth. Even the recent polling says that even though people are bummed about the economy, they do think things are getting better. The republicans should be worried that that Mitt Romney isn't in better shape, and that President Obama isn't in worse shape.
