Theres a lot of terrible, awful, headache-inducing news coming out of Indiana recently in the wake of Governor Mike Pence signing the insidious Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) into law.
So how about a happy news story?
Marc Benioff, the CEO of Salesforce, a cloud computing company, told CNN several of his employees have approached him to be transferred from Indiana because they are uncomfortable with the new RFRA on the books.
And Benioff accommodated them.
Benioff called the new law brutal and unjust and told the story of one of his employees asking to be transferred out. Benioff said he gave the employee a $50,000 relocation package and told him he was good to go.

(13,877 posts)I'm not easily angered, but this crap requires some "righteous anger" to propel these bigots back into the 19th Century.
Might make those who elected them take a little look-see into what it looks like all out in the open and on the internet and TV...commented on and properly chastised by those not occupying their myopic circle.

(15,470 posts)Salesforce has been a huge bully in the CRM world. There are plenty of people that have lost their jobs in other competing companies. The mantra of these top-dog vendors is to suffocate competitors, steal their ideas and customers, envelop, and extinguish.
I think his little story of a few Salesforce employees asking for a transfer is just that.
If the State of Indiana wanted to sign a contract for his software - you betcha.
