Bristol Palin Blames Obamas Daughters for His Embrace of Same-Sex Marriage

Bristol Palin suggests that President Obamas daughters Sasha and Malia are behind his embrace of same-sex marriage rights, and she thinks thats a shame. In a blog post titled Hail to the Chiefs Malia and Sasha Obama, the 21 year old daughter of former presidential candidate Sarah Palin criticized the president for being overly influenced by his family. While its great to listen to your kids ideas, theres also a time when dads simply need to be dads. In this case, it wouldve been helpful for him to explain to Malia and Sasha that while her friends parents are no doubt lovely people, thats not a reason to change thousands of years of thinking about marriage, wrote Palin, a single mother. Ideally, fathers help shape their kids worldview. In this situation, it was the other way around. I guess we can be glad that Malia and Sasha arent younger, or perhaps todays press conference might have been about appointing Dora the Explorer as Attorney General because of her success in stopping Swiper the Fox. She continued, sometimes dads should lead their family in the right ways of thinking. In this case, it wouldve been nice if the President wouldve been an actual leader and helped shape their thoughts instead of merely reflecting what many teenagers think after one too many episodes of Glee.

(82,849 posts)But all that aside, I look forward to hearing from young Ms. Palin about the influence her child's father has in her child's life. Sometimes, Bristol, it's better to observe a period of silence during which you may be thought a foolish ninny than to post your ruminations and remove all doubt.

(2,286 posts)I've heard her speak. She's not that bright.
On edit: Did she ever graduate from high school? And usually when you point fingers, you should at least have some credibility on the issue. If she ended up unwed and pregnant, obviously HER dad failed to lead the family.

(2,774 posts)It's how the illiterate Palins work. Have someone ghost written on Facebook.
Watch an interview with her, she can't speak let alone write. Just like her mother.
When did she become noteworthy?
