Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal (R) suspended his presidential campaign after a gunman killed two people and then himself in a Lafayette, La., movie theater on Thursday night, Fox News reported Friday morning.
Jindal confirmed that he suspended his campaign on "Fox and Friends," but he did not specify for how long he would suspend campaign events.
"Were going to to whatever we can to support our community here. This is a time for us to come together," he told Fox News.

(60,010 posts)About half the Repug field are running for the money.
They get to keep any donations during their "exploratory" time period ( have you noticed how many of THOSE there were this year?)
then their PAC gets to keep any donations during their campaign, no matter how short the campaign turns out to be.
Perry needs $$$$ cause he is under multiple indictments.
Problem is, there is damn little reporting of what happens to the money after the campaign is done.
