How about getting out of your comfort zone? reflecting on and rooting out paternalism and self-defensiveness, seeking out voices of African Americans, Latinos, Native Americans and Asians and, LISTENING with no "buts," asking some follow up questions and then listening some more? What's so damn hard about that?
