George W. Bush used what was called "Snowflake Babies," (kids born from once-frozen embryos,) to pull one of his usual political stunts, when embryonic stem cell research was blocked by Bush and his congressional cronies.

The actual number of kids born from once-frozen embryos is really small, so naturally, after a couple has a child thanks to in-vitro, the remaining frozen embryos literally are flushed down the drain.
