Teddy Roosevelt & FDR Were Economic Populists. Both Supported An Economic Bill Of Rights.
The economic bill of rights that Roosevelts put forth in different eras is what should be the law of the land. FDR's last major speech put out the specific principles of that economic bill of rights that actually Teddy put forth in 1910. You cannot have a middle class or decent democracy without those bill of rights.
Bernie echoes the same concepts that the Roosevelts did. And a worker has a right to SHARE the wealth that they create in the capitalist system. Now the rewards only go to the top percent or CEO's. And the workers get barely a pay check in return. And these rights are hardly radical. They are or should be the main stream politically.
It is ok that their is wealth and people who are rich. But we are so out of balance in this economy that it is not acceptable. Free market rhetoric is bullshit. Without personal economic security and social justice there is nothing but slavery. There is no freedom if you are economically wanting.
