The DNC is under inept leadership under Debbie Wasserman-Schultz.The upcoming 2016 election is seminal to our democratic Republic. Unless major Democrat Party gains are made in state and Federal elections, we are doomed to at least 4 more years of Republican intransigence and stalled vital social programs.
Joe Biden, while being taunted to run for President, could turn the tides against the GOP by helming a concerted and energetic effort to get Democrat voters to the polls and guide the candidates in this battle for our very survival.

(18,402 posts)5. Why on earth would he want to do that?
It would be quite a demotion, to a rather mundane administrative job that has traditionally been held by people you've never heard of, with the occasional appointment of a former governor or member of Congressnot a long-time Senator and Vice President of the United States. Sorry, Biden does not need that, and I doubt he'd ever do that.

that is the vice-presidency? I'm sure it won't happen, but I have no doubt that he would be good for the party and the country in that job.
