(115,921 posts)It took three weeks for it to kill him. Georgi Markov was assassinated with ricin, injected into his leg by a modified umbrella. Even that took three days to do him in. Maybe succinylcholine chloride - difficult (but as of recently, at least possible) to detect because it's metabolized quickly; the victim seems to be having a heart attack.
