In western Iowa, Scott Walker wants to talk about issues, not Donald Trump

Source: Omaha World Herald

By Robynn Tysver

GLENWOOD, Iowa — Scott Walker wants to step up this country’s bombing campaign against Muslim extremists in the Middle East, but he stopped short Friday of calling for more ground troops in the region.

The Republican presidential candidate said that before he committed any more troops to the region, he would allow the 3,000 U.S. soldiers on the ground in Iraq to take a active role in the battle against the terrorist group known as the Islamic State.

As for the current bombing campaign against the Islamic State, Walker said he is being told by some military leaders that it is not enough. “It’s like a drizzle,” he said. “We need a thunderstorm raining down.”

Walker is considered the front-runner in Iowa, holding a slim lead in the state over Donald Trump, who tops the GOP field in national polls.

Look how much he clearly understands that nice woman from Iowa and her everyday problems.

He'd run her over with his own campaign bus if she got in his way, once the photo-op is done.

"Substitute teacher Anita Baker of Farragut, Iowa, goes over a recent medical bill with Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker."
and I'd add to that caption - "with Walker trying to act like he cares."
