Clinton's strongest states will almost all vote by March 15, whereas most of Sanders strongest states will vote after that.
Sanders can win even without winning any states in the South at all. He also can afford to do without at least some states in the North, Midwest and West (including some big ones, like Michigan, Illinois, Pennsylvania, and New York).
