Lindsey Graham Says Trump's First Budget Is 'Dead On Arrival'

Source: Talking Points Memo

By ESME CRIBB Published FEBRUARY 28, 2017, 1:20 PM EDT

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said Tuesday that President Donald Trump's budget outline is "dead on arrival" and that proposed cuts to State Department funding "would be a disaster."

"It's dead on arrival. It's not going to happen. It would be a disaster," Graham said.

He said that if Trump limits the State Department's ability to exercise "soft power" he is "never going to win the war."

"What's most disturbing about the cut in the State Department's budget, it shows a lack of understanding," Graham said.

Yeah, like anyone who is stupid enough to admit that Healthcare is complicated and that no one realized that would have the understanding of how diplomacy works. It's not loud, noisy, obnoxious or in your face so of course he totally discounts it's effect. He's too stupid to understand subtlety or diplomacy and is so freaking out of his league, getting used and rode hard daily by Pootie and thinking this is a good thing, WOW.

It pains me to say it (and you to read it) but Lindsey Graham is right, of course: Trump's plan to rob Peter to pay Paul is untenable. Trump wants to be the president who started and won a Great War. If he has to get rid of all the parts of our government that are there to prevent wars great or small, and then he carries on insulting the world, he may get his wish.

He also may get impeached before the bullets start flying, but he will probably get one of those little visits from a few Republican senators, like the one Nixon got.

Hopefully we'll soon see all out war amongst the repukes. Best chance we have of the country not being ruined by the time they're done with it.

....a "lack of understanding".

It is deliberate. It is a war budget. It is a Bannon Apocalypse budget.

Bannon wants WW3 because he is on a madman's mission to have a crazy, revolutionary violent cleansing of Islam in order to re-establish the Cecil B. DeMille style Christian Jesus.
