In less than a year, First Lady Sarah Stitt has crashed two state vehicles.
On Dec. 17, Sarah Stitt was driving a 2019 black Chevy Suburban when she failed to stop for a traffic signal at N.E. 36th Street and Lincoln Boulevard, according to a collision report.
She collided with 2014 gray Ford with one occupant, according to the collision report.
Stitt was uninjured, but the individual in the second vehicle was taken to the hospital, according to the report. At the time, a DPS spokeswoman said the injuries to the transported individual were minor.

(26,357 posts)it only says that it has to be provided not that the provided transportation has to and or can only be driven by a state employee.

Did they even TRY to do their job properly once they found out it was the governor's wife? Do they even know what properly doing their job looks like?

(2,700 posts)They recognized the celebrity of the drunk in the car and let her go. Its the Red State way, praise god!
Now if shed been a regular citizen, shed have gone to the hoosegow straightaway. If shed been a regular black citizen, the officers may have unwittingly closed their body cams while the woman savagely beat herself to death on the roadside.
But, shucks, this little lady was special and no police officer worth his Oklahoma salt would want to harm her reputation in any way. Its proper policing, doncha know?

(8,893 posts)give the family members cars that they didn't have to pay for, maintain, or pay the insurance on.
It reminds me of my High School in Denver. The students of the owners of Auto Dealerships always drove brand new vehicles with "Dealer" Plates.......
As I recall, one of the kids always drove a brand new Corvette Sting-ray. He would pile one up and then just get another one....LOL

(11,138 posts)At what point does it become negligent entrustment to allow her to drive a vehicle? Having shown herself to be an incompetent driver, it is actionable negligence to give her the keys.
If she hurts someone - as she almost certainly will - the Governor or whoever has control of the keys will find themselves being sued personally.
