US warns Russia conflict with Ukraine would be 'horrific' as tensions simmer

Source: The Guardian

Top US officials call for diplomacy to address Russian military buildup on the Ukraine border, saying conflict is ‘not inevitable’

The US has warned a Russian invasion of Ukraine would be “horrific” for both sides, while calling for a diplomatic solution as tensions over Moscow’s military buildup on the border of the country continued to simmer.

Speaking at the Pentagon on Friday, top US officials urged a focus on diplomacy while saying that Russia now had enough troops and equipment in place to threaten the whole of Ukraine.

Any such conflict, warned the top US general, Mark Milley, would be “horrific” for both sides.

“If that was unleashed on Ukraine, it would be significant, very significant, and it would result in a significant amount of casualties,” Milley said.

a lot of blood in war they can make convert to money, just like militaries.

The Western mass media disappointment over President of Ukraine meeting with President of Russia, cause shut out of the Imperial Powers talks, and then he had the audacity to tell The West to calm the duck down, which was was met with stony silence, skepticism and disappointment.

Why?

The colonial forces loves it’s military more than life itself.

A study by the Rand Corporation. I doubt that our military or any military cares about civilian casualties that's why they call it collateral damage.

Look deep enough and we will find that the tools of discord are wielded by the arms industry and its satellites, generally placed in the hands of politicians, religious fanatics, economists, military leaders, corporate giants, and the morbidly rich these tools bring suffering, discontent, and violence.

War is a soulless, contrived racket.
Don’t be war’s punk, or mark, or fool.

7. Blame Putin. He's a brutal dictator. Brutal dictators must be confronted, not appeased as Trump did.

2 enemies need some kind of buffer that is why the U.S. and Russia split Korea in 2 and the U.S. wanted to keep Vietnam in 2.
