Sorry, but have reached my limit, so can not post more. Seems to be a very short article anyway.

I cleared my Twitter account, locked it down & no longer post. But it's going to be years before another platform can replace it.

I have a feeling it will implode long before it is replaced. That's not a good thing for non-right wing people who depend on it.

While the layoffs continued, Musk announced the people left would be expected to work 84 hours a week, that's 12 hour days, 7 days a week. Naturally he wants young males, women are more likely to have homes and children and he sure as hell doesn't want anyone who might take time off to remind themselves what their kids look like.

After he announced those hours, he wouldn't have had to lay me off. I'd have issued a resounding "FUCK YOU" and in keeping with his focus, I'd have done that via Twitter.

which is what this is. They have other things to do which gives them a broader focus. I suspect if there are any older men left at Shitter they'd probably bail, as well.

Way to throw away 50% of your users, Elon. You'll eventually bel battling with Parlor and Truth Social for the same bunch of loser's mindshare.

Twitter has been hit with another lawsuit stemming from the recent purging of half its workforce, this one accusing the social media company of disproportionately targeting female employees for layoffs.

The proposed class action filed late on Wednesday in San Francisco federal court said that after Twitter was taken over by Elon Musk, the world’s richest person, it laid off 57% of its female workers compared to 47% of men.

Twitter laid off roughly 3,700 employees in early November in a cost-cutting measure by Musk, and hundreds more subsequently resigned.

The gender disparity was more stark for engineering roles, where 63% of women lost their jobs compared to 48% of men, according to the new lawsuit..........................

It's not 57% and 47% of the total layoffs; it's 57% of female workers and 47% of the male workers.
