The announcement is the latest in a series of celebrity arrests, that have included footballers, actors and influencers, in response to their open display of support for anti-government demonstrations now in their third month
According to the report published on the state medias official Telegram channel, Alidoosti was arrested because she did not provide any documents in line with her claims.″

she posts in stories. the news is grim. I believe the West needs to take action but it's so hard to know the right thing to do. These are young people dying for a secular democracy and freedom from oppression.
I also have a former co-worker from Iran. She has family still there. I asked her if they would kill all the people they've thrown into prison and she said yes. They hung a man in public the other day. Barbarians. it's heartbreaking.

I had the fortune of growing up with my older brother and his college friends. One from Iran, one from Iraq, and one from Nigeria. I just thought everyone was the same starting at age 8? And it really is true. It's autocratic governments using religion and truped up hate based on grievances that have warped the human populace.

At school we studied a great deal of Persion history and influence over the ages. Truly saddend to see the current state constantly deteriorating.
