Parents will stand trial in 2021 Michigan school shooting that killed 4 students

Source: ABC News

The parents of a teenager who killed four students at Michigan's Oxford High School lost an appeal Tuesday and will face trial on involuntary manslaughter charges, a rare case of prosecutors attempting to pin some responsibility for a school shooting on the perpetrator's family.

James and Jennifer Crumbley are accused of making a gun accessible to Ethan Crumbley and ignoring his mental health needs. The state appeals court said in March that the couple could face trial, and the Michigan Supreme Court let that decision stand in a one-sentence order.

Prosecutors in suburban Detroit had to show only that there was probable cause to put the parents on trial, a low threshold at this stage. The appeals court noted that an Oakland County jury will hear a more expansive case from all sides.

.......

Ethan Crumbley pleaded guilty to terrorism and murder. A judge last week said he is eligible for life in prison without parole.

his behaviors in prison show that he is still heavily into violence and somehow was able to go on a computer and he went back into the old pro-violence sites he was using before the murders. He wanted to get famous and to stay alive afterwards so he could see them suffer and die. He likes hearing baby birds screaming while torturing them before they die and filming it and saving a bird head in a jar in his room. He hated Biden, his whole family did, and wrote letters to tRump and hoped that this gun assisted mass murder would make Dems look bad. I read about him and it is really a very sick and dangerous family.

..... about it. The School tried to stop the shooting, students were aware of the risks that morning,
and mom just told him to "hide it better" and then don't do it.

However, detectives said that his mom text Ethan: "LOL I'm not mad at you. You have to learn how to not get caught."

Now it is a little late for the tears. Betya they were "christian Trump voters too."

I hope they enjoy their belly chains. They were both aware of their son having the gun on the morning of
the shooting and didn't tell the school about it as they visited it.

Hope it becomes a trend, with the multitude of slaughters involving guns, yet to come.
