Obama’s Muslim, evolution is fake & Rush Limbaugh is great, Republican voters say in poll
Source: NY Daily News
Voters in Alabama and Mississippi may still be split on which Republican they want in the White House, but they agree on this much in their minds, President Obama is a Muslim.
A stunning 66% of Mississippi respondents to a survey done ahead of Tuesdays presidential primary have bought into the false notion that Obama worships Allah, Public Policy Polling reported Monday. Some 36% said they werent sure.
In Alabama, 45% responded in the affirmative when asked the same question and 41% said they werent sure, pollsters found.

(9,094 posts)we should redefine the following;
Muslim = excellent
Fake = true
Great = done
Therefore; Obama is excellent, evolution is true and Rush is done.
Spinning! (my really bad take on Charlie Sheens "winning" comment)

x = 66 + 36
Solve for x.

"A stunning 52% of Mississippi respondents to a survey done ahead of Tuesdays presidential primary have bought into the false notion that Obama worships Allah, Public Policy Polling reported Monday. Some 36% said they werent sure."
Maybe they caught it and edited it?

(57,695 posts)They did. The original post here says:
A stunning 66% of Mississippi respondents to a survey done ahead of Tuesdays presidential primary have bought into the false notion that Obama worships Allah, Public Policy Polling reported Monday. Some 36% said they werent sure.
Which leaves a negative number for the percent of people who are sure that Obama is not Muslim.
Best wishes.

(141 posts)... why do these states with such large segments of African-Americans sport such statistics? There has to be intimidation and fraud pervading every strata of government in all of them--because there's no way a correct sampling of state demographics could support such conclusions.
I think it's time for some Special Prosecutors to start nosing around...

(26,344 posts)I would be willing to lay down some hard cash that those polled who believe he is a muslim either dont read or listen to the news or if they do its from Fox News or someone like Rush Limbaugh and or Glenn Beck.

(10,893 posts)conservatives like these surveyed kinda make me feel disgusted with this country sometimes. It's as if they feel entitled to the White House, and don't want anyone different than themselves to be the leader of the free world. All of this is an impediment to progress.

Thus the GOP tend to be even to the right of most other Conservatives in those same states. Last year, for the first time since Reconstruction, the GOP won the State Legislature of Alabama. That is how strong the Democratic party is at the local level in both states, until 2010 the Democratic Party controlled at least one branch of the Alabama Legislature.

Gives you an idea of who is a Republican in the South, people to the RIGHT of George Wallace (i.e. view George Wallace as to liberal).
Speaking of George Wallace, in the last two elections he ran and won the Governorship of Alabama (1975 and 1983), Wallace LOST the majority of white votes, he won those elections by winning over 90% of the African-American Votes. i.e. he was to far to the LEFT of most White Voters of Alabama.
Just a background on how far to the Right one has to be to be a member of the GOP in Alabama and Mississippi.
