Trump to keynote N.C. GOP dinner

Source: Politico

If you thought Donald Trump's turn in the political spotlight was over when he pulled out of the presidential race, or when the GOP field vetoed his attempt at moderating a debate, or when he ended the suspense and endorsed Mitt Romney, you were wrong:

"The North Carolina Republican Party is thrilled to announce that Donald Trump will be a featured speaker at our 2012 Convention. The Convention will take place from June 1st-3rd at the Koury Convention Center in Greensboro, NC. Mr. Trump will keynote the June 1st (Friday) dinner at 7pm.

NCGOP Chairman Robin Hayes has this to say, “Donald Trump is an entrepreneurial icon. He is someone who has invested time and money into making North Carolina a better place to live and work. At a time when North Carolinians, just like the rest of the country, are wondering how to get our economy going again, I can think of nobody more qualified to speak about entrepreneurship and job creation than Donald Trump. As a dedicated conservative, successful businessman, and inspiration to many, Donald Trump will provide our convention with a unique energy and excitement.”

and the GOP leadership embraces the lying, racist birther fringe yet again by giving a big, sloppy kiss to Mr. Multiple Bankruptcies.

Still waiting for the starstruck media to call this liar out for failing to deliver his promised tax returns and the results of his supposed Hawaiian Birther Task Force investigators.

Recently I ran into a hour long special on TV about opening of a new Trump golf resort.
All managers of Trump's various operations were present at the dinner meeting, all 100+
of them. This dude Trump was masterful at the meeting, acting as MC, boosting morale of his managers, injecting plenty of humor, but most of all making every one of them important and never losing control of the meeting. In 35 years of working in various corporations, I have never witnessed a boss as smooth and effective as Trump.
