7. In my line of work the only time we used "fenestrate" was with the sheet that was put over the

operation site. You needed a sheet with a hole or "window"
Another medical term for a "Hole" we have very specific names for holes...
Meatus
Os
aperture
orifice.
foramen
cavity
cleft
rent
perforation
puncture
sinus
Fenestrage
trema
and it goes on and on.... ad nauseam I guess there are more but I can't think of any..
I'm out of holes... And don't get me going on "tubes"... uff
