Haberman wrote a screed begging the reader to “understand” Trump’s malignant disregard for human life ..understand his depravity/pathological lying and self absorption/ /insatiable greed/his all consuming need for praise/his addiction to despots/his hate for “the other”

His daddy was not a nice man and his mommy was cold ..well, Maggie, lots of kids are born into dysfunction and yet they don’t plot a coup/incite an insurrection/steal government documents

It is still a part of my life. My ninety-three year old mother does as much as she can to disrupt my life, my brother's life, and her grandchildren's life. I make sure she is all right, but I avoid her as much as possible.

7. TFG is not deserving of pity

Nixon was also not deserving of pity. TFG is a bigger crook than Nixon but that does not mean that TFG deserves to be pitied.
