If this can be done effectively and not rob the wild environment, this could help a great deal to show alternatives.

Conservation and lifestyle changes are in order, and decentralized, independent manufacture of power.

Most solutions are good examples that we should not be afraid of leaving fossil fuels behind, but they are still depend on the industrial complex, thus will not change the balance of power.
