as did his excellent writing and production staff. I'm not a big fan of his interview style, but it's his schtick, and schtick that has served him well. I'll miss him.

"Late Night" just can't keep up with Jimmy or Seth. It's sad, though and an end to an era. He's going out gracefully and I admire and respect his decision.

I hope he stays around til he reclaims the crown. Shouldn't take Fallon long to burn through his bag of tricks.

Don't like Letterman. Too often he seemed to be mean to his guests, but only when his guests were not powerful industry types. Making fun of an actor who makes $10 million a movie is one thing. Going out of your way to piss off a Indie comic artist because you think it's funny when he gets mad is another.

He's my generation - he can't do this. I don't understand these kids today. He should stay.

I remember his premier a couple years after I was hired by GM. I did my long 30 years and retired to a contented sunset over 10 years ago. Dave deserves at least as much.

He gave me decades of entertainment after coming home from working my late shift, and I really appreciate that. 'nuff said.
