(54,508 posts)I'm back home in Dallas for 2 days, and we went out to a great little fish restaurant last night.
The locale took great pains to say where all their fish came from, and it was all from the Pacific
or the region of Cape Cod. I got blasted two years ago for saying that the Gulf oil spill would
have severe environmental consequences for years to come. It sure seemed like a no-brainer
to me. It seems Mother Nature thinks so as well.

What part of the Earth's oceans aren't we going to pollute?

(11,689 posts)See, with global warming, there won't be an Arctic ice cap, so we can get fresh, clean seafood from there.

(54,508 posts)I guess soon, they'll have to test it with Geiger counters. Iceland is still pretty much OK, and in Germany,
most of the fish we eat comes from that area.

(8,159 posts)No way in hell would I eat fish from the gulf. The oil was bad enough but the dispersant's were a chemical brew that I want no part of.
