(5,610 posts)black lives do matter and they seem to get killed, hurt and jailed more than most. However, they were very rude and disruptive to a man who is on their and 90% of all Americans side. It is not Progressives by any means who are idiots with guns. Bernie has a message that all Americans should hear. I guess they know that they could not take over a republican event because they are the dicks with guns.
If they had asked in advance for some mic time, Bernie would have gladly given it to them. It really makes me wonder if the republicans could be behind the targeting of Bernie events....maybe Hillary?
Damn, it is important more than ever that Bernie gets his message out. Something is fishy IMO.

(12,882 posts)These women's actions were inexcusable. Further incidents like this are only going to marginalize their cause and actions. Either they've got a really poor sense of aim, or some sort of "reward" is provoking their performances.

(66 posts)didn't they cut the mic
they should have been arrested. To be that disrespectful. They are only hurting their own cause because I will never listen to anything BLM has to say now

(618 posts)Not everyone who calls themselves BLM are BLM. The two women who disrupted Bernie Sanders appearance in Seattle were from the Anarchist group "Outside Agitators 206", who co-opted the BLM name for their own purposes. They claim no loyalty to the Democratic Party, the BLM movement or anyone else. One of them is/was a Sarah Palin supporter.
A friend of mine on another forum is angry with me because of my anger and outrage at Bernie's treatment in Seattle last Saturday. I posed to him the following question:
"If YOU started a movement in St Louis called "callmeSam" with no organizational structure, and then I went out and said, "I'm the founder of "callmeSam-Los Angeles"" and proceeded to act a disruptive, natural fool at public events and on national TV, what would YOU think, and how would you feel??"
He did not respond.
BLM is a movement and a "rallying cry", not a structured organization like the NAACP. Anyone can co-opt the name BLM for their own purposes. If you think I'm wrong, give me the name of the President or Chairperson of BLM, or a list of it's Board of Directors.
And, if for some reason, you are still convinced that Bernie Sanders somehow doesn't believe that Black Lives Matter, watch this clip of him from 1991 (24 years ago). Pay attention to the last line. [link:
