'A Largely Symbolic Move': Jan. 6 Committee Plans Criminal Referrals - Morning Joe - MSNBC

The House Select committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol will make criminal referrals to the Department of Justice, though no decision has been made on the target of a referral or what allegations of crimes the potential referrals would cover, according to new reporting from The Washington Post's Jackie Alemany. - Aired on 12/07/2022.

That's what I have been contending has been a key part of Trump's strategy all along: Bury and overwhelm the legal system in a huge deluge, a huge mountain of evidence that it will take years to fully investigate. By that time, Trump will either be reinstalled in the White House as President for Life - or he'll be dead. Either way, he'll win, and ultimately escape accountability.

22 months and counting DoJ.
Statute of limitations will run out before the DoJ acts as with Muller's investigation.
Then they will not let you see an unredacted documents in the file
