Psychologist and host of “The Mary Trump Show,” Mary Trump joins Ali Velshi to shed light on what’s going through the former president’s head and why so many past supporters of his are detaching themselves from the Trump brand.

3. Am I the only person irritated by how the media, even when airing criticism of Trump,

show video of him swaggering and speechifying and generally seeming "presidential?"

All this does is reinforce that phony image of him as a serious, even competent person.

Why, for example, when Mary Trump is describing Trump as a "monster" created by the GOP, does the network devote two thirds of the screen to video of that monster puffing and preening?

You'd think, being in television, the producers of these programs would have a clue about the power of images.

Not to mention, haven't we all seen way more than we can stand of his antics anyway?? I turned off the news during the 2016 campaign because I'd seen enough of this offensive blowhard, planned to tune in again after the campaign was over.

9. I actually have both of her books on disc - read by the author - and listen to them in my car

Not only does it seem more personal that way, but I've learned quite a bit from her while I drive. And, especially on the second book (the first one is more a family history), I've learned quite a bit about American history - starting with the founding of the nation and malfeasance during TFG's administration. She certainly did her research!
