Been there twice and climbed Angel’s Landing each time. Breathless, both figuratively and literally once you get to the top. Those effn magats should make this climb—- so that they can see the wondrous of Mother Earth and appreciate how interconnected everything is. If not that maybe so that one or two can just fall over during the trek.

Also did the dayhike up Virgin Narrows, more than 7 hours in and out of the river between the towering cliffs of that canyon.

Truly awesome place!

Been a number of years ago but I went into a CarToys store and talked a while with a very nice young man.
He told me he and his girlfriend had won a weeks stay af Las Vegas, rental car included.

So I suggested to him that if they got tired of Vegas maybe an overnight in Zion would refresh them.

Came in a couple of months later. He recognized me. He was just raving about Zion. As I kind of figured, after a couple of days in Vegas they maybe could use a change of scenery.

So he tells his girl about a place a customer had recommended, Zion. They spent the next five days there and barely made the flight back to DFW.

Hard to describe the truly incredible beauty. So grateful these are national parks & open to all. Yosemite is often crowded in the summer, so go early in season or late. No matter when go and see these incredible places. I remember trails in Zion and they are great.
And great is an understatement..There is no way to describe these two, so you must see them to believe them. Beyond great.
... But there are a number of places of beauty in the U.S.A. The geography here is incredible and varied. Caves, ocean beaches, mountains, deserts, islands, and more. I live near Lake Michigan (about 5 miles away) and some mornings I go to watch the sunrise over the lake..Been to Everglades National Park and that one is beyond beyond. Like a jungle, or stranger?..
...I have been to many, but never Alaska..Maybe this summer...wait..the summer is almost over?..Well ?? maybe Hawaii..never been there either..
