but it isn't especially effective in subzero weather, when I go for walks.

It worked great until it suddenly stopped working and my lens were not just a bit foggy but smeared as well.

I just got back from a medical appointment on a 10 degree day. I was double masked, and almost blind much of the time with fogged glasses.

I started wearing black masks from Amazon that were supposed to be better for folks wearing glasses. It is definitely better than the blue surgical-looking masks. I believe they are made by EHH.

Be careful to make sure you get something that will protect you, of course.

(Though I have done it)
Progressives need to line up with your eye more precisely. Especially when walking down stairs.

Of COURSE I have 'PROGRESSIVE' lenses - don't we all?

But seriously, best trick I've found is to pull the mask up just-about-to-the-eyes, then slide the glasses down a bit. Keeps the 'air' from fogging them immediately - but difficult to read the labels in the store!

If I was going to be wearing the mask all day, I'd try the band-aid or medical tape sealing the top of the mask.

I do that when I don't have a band-aid handy or a good brand of transparent tape.

Over top of your mask, in other words, overlap your glasses over your mask.

Someone once told me try washing your glasses first with a liquid soap before you put them on, supposedly that cuts down on the fogging.

I feel for you, it’s awful when my mask slips down and I fog up my glasses from breathing. You can’t see a damned thing!
