Valentine breakfast??? Whatcha doing???

any particular way that you celebrated this morning (that you wish to discuss)???!!!

Just a typical morning for us - good coffee, NYT (paper version - the magazine section - puzzles!), our dogs, music - and for our special breakfast, the local bakery makes a dark chocolate cherry bread (not a cake - a nice, not sweet, somewhat bitter chocolate delight) - just toasted two nice slices of that, with butter and some powdered sugar.

Now that the impeachment is done, I am going to work to throw the orange lying blob out of my brain for good.

It may be gray and drizzly and cool here, but I am going to plant some seeds and get the 2021 garden underway.

2. Hot chocolate and toasted home baked multi-grain bread. (WInd child is minus 25F outside)

Poor pup had frozen tootsies.

3. Toast and coffee.

4. Coffee, pain killers, drove with windows down.

Mr ITW needs transportation to and from work, 6 days a week.

Dang it's a might too cold with the windows down.
Car has a very bad carbon monoxide leak.

5. Pancakes made with vanilla and covered in maple syrup.

A few slices of peppered thick sliced bacon and a pile of freshly cut strawberries.

6. Went to the store for the Sunday NY Times

and came home with a jelly doughnut. Made bacon to go with it.

Will start a big pot of chicken soup in a while.

Looking at my little side yard/courtyard and thinking about how to landscape it.

Wet, cold, dreary here with more rain coming this afternoon.

10. we were visiting family in tenn when the arctic blast hit about 10 years ago..12 below. I have a vid

..of un-coated hubby casually walking out to get the trash can from the curb and about 10 seconds out hes literally running back into the house. Instead of me cracking up laughing i probably should have met him out there with his coat.
