Are bluetooth earbuds/earphones w noise cancelling the best invention ever or are you wrong?

I'm listening to David Bowie's Heathen. Tom Petty's Mojo album is up next.

Have any of you fine people completely turned inward as have I into my own little world by shutting out the outside world? Anarchy surrounds me, but I'm at peace.

I'm using Apple's AirPods Pro and they've got to be my favorites. I've forgotten that they were in my ears before and been startled out of my skin when a phone call came in. Thats how light and comfortable they are.

I hope you are all finding peace in this (waves hands around) "whatever this is".

But I guess if you're going to get all nitpick-y and be technically correct....

to help you adapt. It is nice to have control and be able to turn down the BS sometimes.

since birth. But I don't miss it for the most part, used to it (read lips).

It is nice to avoid most of the BS like you say, but sometimes, actually hearing the BS can be nice, so I can truly and validly ignore the BS directly (from their lips to my ears, so to speak).

My SO/translator tells me the critical stuff too, which is very nice too.

But, as you know, some people talk too much (we all know these types of people, sometimes there's too many of them), and yet end up saying nothing.

You know what I mean.

Take care of yourself and have a nice day!

I've spent a lot of time at the dentist, and have had a few surgeries over the years ... and I think anesthetics are probably the greatest invention of all time, both the local and general kind.

But wireless NC earbuds are also fairly epic

Listening to AAC files on a bluetooth connection loses almost half of the original information. Try putting on a CD (also slightly lossy) with some real (like Grado or Sennheiser) wired headphones for a shock. Heck, an LP through some decent speakers will be reveletory. Folks nowadays have no idea how good some things really sound.
