But I have to agree that not much on the show has been funny this season. And I'm looking forward to Steve Martin and Martin Short, too - it's about time they had comedians to host a comedy show!

In fact, I remember that Dave Chappelle bowed out of a sketch and let a new cast member take his place. I'm guessing that was planned, but still...

That was easily one of the worst SNL's I've ever seen. Even Weekend Update had the virus. I don't think it was the cast's fault either. They just had to try and push poor writing as best they could and earned their scale doing it.

It seemed like all the skits were just forced, in-your-face yelling as if to say "This is SNL damn it, so laugh cause this shit is funny".

I'll be amazed if it makes it to the 50th anniversary.
