Need to vent... cuz it's snowing and I can't feel my toes lol

Lived in Tahoe 30 years now. Bought the house in 2015...

Dude, WHO the FUCK puts heat registers on the FUCKING CEILING?

I love my house but it is the WORST design flaw and every winter the floors are freezing. Yes, Im wearing socks, and slippers. But GRFRRRRRRRR!

I'm also getting older and I think my circulation is worse Snow sucks.
My window for "livable" temps has been getting smaller and smaller as I age. Used to love a good hot day, now anything over 75-80 is the worst...and anything colder than 50 makes me cringe.

Yes, I live in a beautiful place and wouldn't trade it. But DAMN...I will say it again.
Snow sucks, that is all

Makes a big difference.

Just bought some thermal socks from Costco.
They are nice.

So true: “Florida, where it’s too hot outside and too cold inside.” They keep their house like a meat locker. Spent much of the time with a blanket on my lap. I don’t get it.

down here in the mountains of southwest New Mexico? We haven’t had a single snow yet. Our low last night was 51! We should be having 20 degree nights by now. I hate climate change!

Honestly this is the first winter in YEARS that it's been kinda consistent for the month of Nov and Dec so far. I hope it continues...just a few little storms every week or two...

Last year we got ALL 30' in ONE WEEK in Dec and NOTHING for Jan Feb!

climate change indeed does suck.
