Snowball fight in 1897:

The footage comes from a 1897 silent short titled "Bataille de neige" or "Snow Fight," which was filmed in the city of Lyon, France. The film was produced by Auguste and Louis Lumière, aka the Lumiére Brothers. It has been colorized and speed adjusted.
