Side note...
One of my side hustles was working as a researcher on speech synthesis starting in the 1980s. I'm a published, nationally recognized author on the subject. I can tell you after working on this for 23 years we've come a very long way toward providing devices to assist and augment the speech communication skills of those who otherwise would have no voice. It's a bonus that SGD's aka speech generating devices, are being used to narrate cat videos. Especially sweet ones like this. ❤️

8. I had the same reaction. The mispronounced words make me cringe.

That it's off then OK then off was an interesting twist but still no less cringe. There have been lots of scientists from a lot of different disciplines working for many years on speech synthesis. I'm happy to have done my small part. ❤️

6. My Fricka gave the best cat hugs

I stole her from people that abused her.
My sister told me what had happened to her at the hands of these cruel people.
I told my sister we had to save her they'd murder her eventually.

She had human bite scars on her precious ears. My sister called me over when those assholes she was babysitting for left. I grabbed Fricka from under the bed,ran to my place with Fricka tucked under my shirt inside my jacket.

I got her home and her nose was bleeding.
My sister said she got kicked across the room.

We took her to the vet
She had multiple broken bones that healed,she had kidney damage and seizures.

She had to eat special food and take meds
Her life changed and I loved her and she gave me the sweetest most emotional hugs she would make me cry sometimes.

I am so glad I got her out of there.

My sister told me the people upon realizing she was not there didnt care they said they were glad to be rid of her.

She was one of the sweetest cats I have ever known and we were a bonded pair.
